Shingobee Builders has completed construction of the first Minnesota location of Bonefish Grill in The Shops at West End (St. Louis Park, MN). This is Shingobee’s second restaurant project in the premier shopping/dining area, owned by developer Duke Realty.
The restaurant opened to the public on Monday, November 3, with a festive ribbon-cutting ceremony and a Benefit Day Fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Twin Cities.
The 5,800 square foot restaurant features a spacious dining room with an open kitchen and large bar area, including four large community tables. Two private dining rooms, equipped with AV connections, are available for private functions. Bonefish Grill promotes a “polished-casual” approach, serving high-quality seafood and wood-grilled specialties, with friendly, attentive hospitality.
The construction project involved build-out of a tenant space and exterior street-front on West End Boulevard, located below the Showplace ICON Theatre. The detailed interior features warm wood and stone work, unique seating areas, and a variety of lighting treatments, designed by H. Carleton Godsey Associates Architects (Louisville, KY). Work started in May of this year and was completed in October.
