ALDI’s on the rise in Minnesota, and here at Shingobee, we’re happy to be a part of it!
You may have seen a lot of news here lately about our work on different ALDI projects. We posted an update this past spring about the ALDI project boom and our upcoming work on seven new or remodeled stores, and there has been a lot accomplished in the few months since then.
Here’s an update on all of our ALDI projects, plus some news about the grocer in Minnesota in general.
Richfield, MN: Now Open
This store at 860 West 78th Street in Richfield, MN celebrated its grand opening on August 15th. The line of customers waiting to get in extended out the door and around the block thanks to a "golden ticket giveaway" happening inside the store for the first 100 customers.
Fort Dodge, IA: Now Open
This store was the first of our summer ALDI boom to open back on June 20th. This was a remodel to an existing ALDI, making it easier to navigate. Visit the local newspaper's website for a story on the reopening!
Austin, MN: Now Open
This store just reopened in September! It was a remodel and expansion of an existing ALDI location. The Austin Daily Herald has a news story about it here.
Phalen Village, St. Paul. MN: In Progress
The above drone photo was captured on August 16th. Progress has been made since then - the project is coming along quickly! It kicked off back in April.
Minneapolis, MN: Now Open
Another expansion and remodel, this store on Franklin Ave in Minneapolis opened up back in April.
