Landscape Structures Corporate Headquarters

Delano, Minnesota

Shingobee provided design/ build demolition and reconstruction of this 32,000 square foot corporate headquarters building in Delano, Minnesota.

The project involved the relocation of employees and demolition of a portion of an existing building, then constructing the new headquarters as an addition to the remaining portion of the building. The two-story building has cedar and metal panel exterior, and contemporary, playful interior spaces that reflect the company’s personality as a manufacturer of kids’ play equipment.

Landscape Structures is an ISO 9001 and 14001 certified company, which encourages recycling in their normal business operations. It was important from the onset of design to reflect this philosophy in the construction of their offices. The architect reviewed the Minnesota Sustainable Guidelines and established realistic goals for this project. Numerous features were incorporated into the design for energy efficiency and sustainable use of materials.
