Dickinson Public Works Facility

Dickinson, North Dakota

This new facility for Dickinson’s Public Works Department was completed in July 2014. The new building was a necessity for the growing city, which has quickly outgrown its two current public works buildings. The 100,670-square-foot precast facility houses administrative offices, conference and training rooms, a vehicle storage and maintenance shop, water department and sign shops, and a fire department bay with dayroom and sleeping facilities. The heating system incorporates 70 geothermal wells.
