Hometown Federal Credit Union
Northfield and Owatonna, Minnesota
Shingobee has constructed three projects – two new construction and one addition / remodel – for HomeTown Federal Credit Union.
Shingobee constructed a new branch of the Credit Union in Northfield, MN (top and right) in 2020-21. The 5,575 square foot building features an open, spacious interior with clerestory windows, drive-up lanes, and brick exterior.
The branch opened for business in March 2021. Shingobee also constructed the new branch of the Credit Union in Owatonna, MN (above, left), between October 2018 and July 2019. The two-story building features an open lobby atrium, high-quality interior finishes, and an exterior of glass, metal, and brick.
In 2007, an addition/remodel was constructed at the Credit Union’s original location in Owatonna. (above, right) In all projects with HFCU, Shingobee was involved in the entire design, from development drawings to construction documents. This continuity provided on-demand cost estimates through the design process, which led to budget compliance during the bidding period.
