A Groundbreaking ceremony was held on October 3, 2012, for a new facility for Minnesota Inboard Water Sports in Excelsior, MN.
Minnesota Inboard owners Joe and Pam Mueller and their family celebrated the beginning of construction of their new facility along with Shingobee Project Manager Stacy Gleason and Superintendent Matt Grobel.
Minnesota Inboard Water Sports is a proud family business, creating strong roots in the Excelsior and Lake Minnetonka communities, since its inception 20 years ago. Joe Mueller, along with his wife Pam, opened MN Inboard Water Sports in Excelsior, in January 1992. Since then, the company has grown to include sons Matt and Rob, as well as their daughter, Sara, growing from only 2 employees in 1992, to over 30 today. Their dedication to excellence in customer service, has propelled MN Inboard to the top, more than tripling sales over the last two decades, making MN Inboard the Number One Dealer of Direct Drive Inboard Boats in the Midwest, and the Number One Malibu Boat Dealer in the United States.
Minnesota Inboard’s new facility will meet the future needs of this growing local business.
The business has outgrown its current location in Excelsior, and has engaged Shingobee Builders to construct their new facility at a site one block west of their current location. Construction is already under way, and scheduled for completion in January 2013.
