Shingobee is putting the finishing touches on a new Olive Garden restaurant in Baxter (near Brainerd) in northern Minnesota, as they prepare for an October 8 opening.

The restaurant is located in a new retail development area of Baxter, near several major national retail stores like JC Penney, Wal-Mart, and Home Depot. Shingobee started construction in April of this year, and completed the building in September. During the past few weeks, furniture and fixtures were installed, the owner hired and trained employees, and final preparations were made for the October 8 grand opening.

Shingobee has constructed one other Olive Garden, in Mankato, MN, as well as providing several restaurant remodels of Red Lobster and Olive Garden restaurants for owner Darden Restaurants (of Orlando, FL). More on Shingobee’s restaurant construction experience at Projects: Restaurant Construction.
