Construction happens year-round, but as with just about everything that happens outdoors in Minnesota, there’s a busy season in the summertime. This year, we’re heading into our busy season with a ton of new projects going on! From retail and restaurants to financial and education, we’re working on projects across a variety of industries. 

 

Here are a few highlights about the projects we’re working on this summer. Cheers to a great season!

 

 

Phalen Village

 

 

This project is a retail development in St Paul, Minnesota. It includes an ALDI grocery store, Entira medial clinic, a restaurant, community building, and community plaza (woonerf). For more on the project, visit the Paster Properties website.

 

Now Mart

 

 

The Now Mart Gas & Groceries in New Hope, MN opened this spring, and their Speed-Thru Car Wash is tentatively opening at the end of June! This is such a cool one - check out our news story on it here. 

 

Olive Garden

 

 

We're just getting started on an Olive Garden reconstruction in Bloomington, MN. This one's cheduled to be complete in November. 

 

Primrose School of Rogers

 

 

This is a new construction project in Rogers, MN. Primrose is building a 11,450 square foot preschool / child care facility and outdoor play areas! Construction started May and will be complete in November.

 

Motoprimo Motorsports Building Expansion

 

 

This is a motorsports dealer in Lakeville. We're working on a two-level, 28,000 square foot addition to the building. 

 

Home Town Federal Credit Union

 

 

As you can see from the picture, this new construction in Owatonna, MN is nearing completion! They're scheduled to open July 9th. 

 

ALDI Stores

 

 

Did you see our post about being contracted for not one, not even five, but seven ALDI stores in 2019? Yep, we're loving the ALDI boom! Here's a quick list of the stores. For more details, check out our blog post.

 

  • ALDI Minneapolis – remodel, completed earlier
  • ALDI #59, Fort Dodge, IA – remodel, Grand Opening June 20!
  • ALDI #103, Richfield, MN – tenant improvement, started April, completion July.
  • ALDI #76, Austin, MN – remodel, started May, completion August.
  • ALDI #36, Waukee, IA – new construction, just getting started, completion this fall.
  • ALDI #105 Sibley Plaza, St. Paul, MN – remodel, starting soon, completion this fall.
  • ALDI #37 Phalen Village, St. Paul, MN – tenant improvement (in the building we are building in Phalen Village) – summer start, fall completion

 

Holiday Stationstores

 

 

We have quite a few Holiday projects under our belt, and we're adding a few more this summer! Here are those locations:

 

  • Holiday Stationstore #3556, Inver Grove Heights, MN – New construction
  • Holiday Stationstore #45 St. Paul, MN – Car wash addition
  • Holiday Stationstore #3590, Waverly, MN – Addition/remodel of existing store

 

Casey’s General Store

 

 

A new store in Altoona, WI, just started and is set to be completed in the fall.

 

Richfield Bloomington Credit Union 

 

 

A new branch on Old Shakopee Rd was completed in the spring.

 

 

A two-story, 12,000 square foot addition and remodel of the existing building is going on now at their Lyndale location. Work started this spring and is scheduled for fall completion.

 

Fast Casual Restaurants

 

 

We're working on several fast-casual restaurants, with a few that were already completed in the spring. 

 

  • Five Guys Burgers & Fries – two new stores in Wausau, WI and Baxter, MN
  • Crisp & Green, Maple Grove, MN (pictured) – completion in July
  • Chipotle Mexican Grill, Chaska, MN – completed in May
  • Qdoba Mexican Eats, St. Cloud, MN – completed in May
  • McDonald’s remodels in Zumbrota and Columbia Heights, MN
