Shingobee Real Estate Company LLC, has added Marvin Wensman as Development Manager to assist the regionally acclaimed construction and development firm grow its business segments in the Midwest region of the United States.

 

In his role as Development Manager, Marvin will be tasked with identifying opportunities for commercial real estate development and construction. He will assist in the due diligence/entitlement process, provide project management, and create financial forecasts. He will also represent ownership groups to local governmental entities, including facilitating community meetings and public hearings.

 

Marvin’s background has been on the brokerage side of the commercial real estate industry, working with the investment sales team at the Northstar Retail Group of Marcus & Millichap. His focus was to facilitate the purchase and sale of commercial retail properties (single-tenant and multi-tenant), predominantly in the upper Midwest. Marvin was recognized by Marcus & Millichap during his employment, earning multiple awards for exceeding business production goals. Marvin brings an honest, hardworking attitude to the firm.

Marvin is a 2013 graduate of the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management. He is a Minnesota Licensed Real Estate Salesperson and is involved with many professional organizations, including the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Minnesota Commercial Association of Real Estate (MNCAR), Minnesota Shopping Center Association (MSCA), and Commercial Real Estate Development Association (NAIOP).
