Shingobee completed construction of two Holiday Stationstores, located in Buffalo and Coon Rapids, MN, at the end of December 2011.

The Coon Rapids store (pictured above), a 7,400 square foot building with attached carwash, was constructed on piles due to soil conditions. The Buffalo site required demolition of an existing building prior to start of construction of the 6,000 square foot building, also with an attached carwash.

Both projects started in September with site and underground work first, completion of landscaping and asphalt while the weather still permitted, and then completion of the building. Both buildings’ exteriors were finished with detailed brick and masonry work; the projects benefitted from our mild weather conditions during November and early December for completion of the work.

Shingobee has constructed over 30 new service station/convenience stores for Holiday Stationstores and Linn Companies (owner of the Coon Rapids store), as well as dozens of remodels, throughout the state of Minnesota.
