Shingobee Builders and its CEO, Nancy Samson, were both honored at the Annual Meeting of Associated Builders and Contractors MN/ND Chapter, held on Thursday, November 8. The event is held annually to elect new members of the Board of Directors and to present Chapter awards.

Created in 1998, OSHA’s Strategic Partnership Program is an extensive, voluntary cooperative business partnership between OSHA and contractors. The partnership is designed to help companies recognize hazards on the construction site and implement strategies to reduce the dangers of these risks. Together, both MNOSHA and the contractors can help business owners create safety and health management systems for their employees, customers/clients, and the public at large. Shingobee was the general contractor for a tenant improvement project that won a STARR Award at Minnesota Shopping Center Association’s annual Shopping Center Tribute Awards for Retail Real Estate event, held on Tuesday, December 1. The project, Xalon Salon in Division Place Shopping Center, St. Cloud, was recognized in the Interior Design: Retail/Non-Food Service category.

At its Annual Meeting on November 20, 2014, the MN/ND Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors recognized Shingobee Builders as their Construction Company of the Year. The award recognizes the outstanding efforts of the member company who contributed the most to ABC and Merit Shop over the past year.
