A ribbon cutting and dedication was held Friday, March 16, for the new Norma Lambert Rainbow elderly housing complex in Fort Totten, North Dakota. Shingobee completed construction of the facility earlier this year for the Spirit Lake Nation.

Shingobee recently completed a major clinic addition and hospital renovation at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Crosby, which is located in the northwest corner of North Dakota. The expansion added a new 8,500 square foot clinic, a large lobby/waiting area which is shared with the hospital, and education and meeting spaces in the lower level.

Shingobee completed construction of two Holiday Stationstores, located in Buffalo and Coon Rapids, MN, at the end of December 2011. The Coon Rapids store (pictured above), a 7,400 square foot building with attached carwash, was constructed on piles due to soil conditions.

Shingobee has been honored with a Pyramid Award in Associated Builders and Contractors Minnesota Chapter Excellence in Construction Awards competition, for Shingobee’s work on Mazopiya, in Prior Lake, MN. Shingobee Project Manager James Schuweiler accepted the award February 2, 2012, during ABC’s Annual Awards Banquet, held at The Metropolitan in Minneapolis, MN.

Auburn Homes & Services held a groundbreaking ceremony on Friday, November 11, for Auburn Meadows Assisted Living, a new facility to be constructed by Shingobee in Waconia, MN. The 62-unit, three-story building will offer assisted living and enhanced assisted living as well as apartments for memory care residents.

A new flag pole and U.S. flag, donated by Shingobee, were recently installed at the Spirit Lake Tribe’s headquarters building in Fort Totten, North Dakota. Shingobee is currently constructing a new Elderly Center for the Tribe, and donated the flag pole as a gesture of good will.

Construction is under way for the Lil’ Explorers Childcare Center in Delano, Minnesota. Shingobee Real Estate worked with owner Jen Schultz to purchase the land site, develop plans, and obtain city approvals so this project could proceed.
