Next week, Shingobee will be attending the 2016 Minnesota Bankers Association Annual Conference in Rochester, MN. The conference runs through Monday and Tuesday, June 13-14. Monday’s main event is a golf tournament at the Rochester Country Club, where Shingobee will be sponsoring one of the holes!

Groundbreaking for the new Minnesota National Bank location in Sauk Centre, MN was held on May 16th. The new building will replace their existing Sauk Centre main office. The building will be two stories (plus a basement) and 21,000 square feet in size.

“Creative office” is a recent trend in new office construction and renovations of older spaces. Perimeter-style offices are disappearing, floor plans are opening up, and trendy breakout areas and cafés are replacing the rigid, closed layouts of the past.

Shingobee will be at the 93rd Annual Minnesota Petroleum Marketers Convention and Trade Show next week! The convention runs April 11 – 13 at the St. Paul RiverCentre. Shingobee will be exhibiting on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 12 and 13, at booth 539.

Shingobee will be attending the 2016 MnCUN Annual Conference this week! The conference runs from March 30th through April 1st at Radisson Blu at Mall of America in Bloomington, MN. The conference is a combination of Credit Union Day at the Capitol and the Annual Meeting & Convention.

Shingobee worked with Clockwork Active Media to remodel an old 1920s sheet metal fabricating shop into a modern, creative and collaborative office environment. First, the building shell was improved by the landlard (Volna Real Estate Holdings LLC). Clockwork then engaged Shea Design to develop an interior design and chose Shingobee as general contractor.

Shingobee has been providing construction services since May of 2015 on a new Tribal courts and police facility for the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe, in Cass Lake, MN. A great amount of progress on construction has been made in recent months, nearing completion of the building exterior and much of the interior finish work.
